Kombucha, a perfect mixer for cocktails and mocktails. Spice up your drink game, nix the sugar, pour on the probiotics and antioxidants.
More flavor, less sugar, a little health boost, and cocktails? As much as we talk about health and wellness, not only should you not feel bashful around here if you happen to find a martini in your hand, you might find one in our hands too. But we have a secret. We think we know how you can enjoy your glass (or two) and make it healthier.
What if we told you that kombucha is actually the perfect mixer? First, imagine the variety of flavors, alone. No longer would you be relegated to your typical bloody mary, sours, and spritzer mixers - blueberries, hibiscus, and elderflowers could dance in flavorful harmony with your other favorite bottles. And if you don’t drink, this flavor variety makes the possibilities for liquor-less “mock”tails endless, while still getting the refreshing taste and fanciful look of an actual cocktail.
‘Booch was born to be a mixer. It’s got the bubbly fizz, it’s got the tangy tartness, it’s got the subtle sweetness, all in one glass. Plus, remember all those probiotics, vitamins, and antioxidants we always talk about? You’ll actually be pouring all of those right in your cocktail. Packaged mixers and spritzers we mentioned are loaded with sugar. Alcohol already contributes a significant number of calories to your glass, why would you want to add more? Kombucha not only has a killer flavor variety, it could quickly shrink the amount of sugar and calories you’re about to drink.
*We used our Seek North Kombucha for the below recipes but feel free to sub out with other similar flavors and/or kombucha brands if Seek North Kombucha is not readily available.
