Our Mother Scoby that produces our kombucha is 100% organic and we only source organic teas to provide you with the healthiest kombucha. Because of this our kombucha is loaded with beneficial bacteria, acids and yeasts essential for gut health.

Our booch is 100% raw, unpasteurized, certified organic kombucha crafted locally in Upstate New York. We only use plant-based ingredients with no added extracts or artificial flavors.

Alcohol Extracted

Seek North is completely changing the game and challenging the status quo in this area. We use a state of the art technology, a unique Spinning Cone Column (SCC), which separates the alcohol content from the kombucha without affecting the bacterial profile, or adding heat. This way, we are able to keep all of the useful bacteria and nutrients in tact, and remove alcohol effectively. In fact, this removes it so effectively that Seek North produces the one of the only product lines that is essentially alcohol free (less than .5% alcohol). We are one of an extremely few kombucha companies nationwide that actually uses this alcohol extraction technology.

That’s the Seek North secret. We don’t pasteurize, dilute or filter our kombucha. Our kombucha is 100% raw with active cultures and is low in sugar.

What is kombucha? 

Kombucha is a delicious fermented tea beverage that is chock-full of goodness for your gut.  Fondly referred to as “booch” by its loyal fans, this increasingly popular drink is low in sugar content, and every sip is packed with naturally occurring probiotics, antioxidants, vitamins, enzymes, and amino acids.  A living, nutrient-rich drink, “booch” is produced by adding a SCOBY (symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast) to a tea solution with sugar.

During the fermentation process, the cultures metabolize most of the sugar and caffeine, rendering some of the less healthy elements of conventional tea into a naturally carbonated beverage full of healthy essentials like B vitamins, organic acids, and antioxidants. This natural fermentation process produces the unique taste that kombucha fans instantly love. While there is a wide range of complex and nuanced flavors, there is something distinctive and immediately recognizable about taking a sip of kombucha.

How is kombucha made?

Kombucha is a raw, fermented tea and we brew it the traditional, time-tested way, using nothing but tea, water, sugar, and a mother SCOBY (symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast). The tea concoction ferments for a period of time, resulting in a deliciously refreshing and nutrient-dense beverage.
