The Edwards' Hibiscus Ginger Sour (Booch Mocktail)

Last night’s event for Stockade Nights at Bluecashew Homestead Kitchen was so delightful with friends and booch novices and drinkers alike coming together to kick off the new year!

The successful night was fueled by feel good cocktails and feel good purchases-with 20% of sales during the event going directly to the Hudson Valley LGBTQ Community Center!

Deliciously detoxifying cocktails featured Seek North Kombucha adulterated with Hanson Distillery vodka and Tuthilltown bourbon and rye. Of course regular (unspiked) kombucha was served for those observing Dry January. Apparently there was quite a few people participating in Dry January. So, what was our favorite booch mocktail of the evening? The Edwards’ Hibiscus Ginger Sour created by Brendan David Edwards’ from Inspired Beverage Inc!

The Edwards’ Hibiscus Ginger Sour

1/2 tbs fresh lemon juice
1 tbs agave syrup
10 oz Seek North Harmony kombucha

Directions:

  1. Mix agave and fresh lemon juice

  2. Add kombucha and stir

  3. Add over ice

  4. Garnish with fresh lemon wheel and optional fresh ginger
