Our kombucha is unapologetically naked. This is a bottle full of 100% raw, unpasteurized, certified organic kombucha crafted by loving, strong hands in Upstate New York.

Everyone should have access to all that is honest and natural in life – pure, the way our bodies understand things best. This is exactly why we use only healthy mother cultures grown in-house, and brew our booch using methods that ensure all the nutrients of each wholly plant-based ingredient is maintained with no added extracts or artificial flavors. It is 100% vegan, as well as gluten and lactose free.

We Love Our Mother

We take very seriously our role as global and local citizens. We keep our carbon footprint small – about a size 6 – by not only making sure our products are made from materials that are biodegradable, recyclable and/or renewable, but made locally, right in upstate New York, with the brand intention to grow at least 50% of our ingredients on our founders’ very own farm in the Catskills. This means that not only do you get more of the beneficial components of each ingredient because there is less travel time to make it to your bottle, but that decrease in shipping time and distance is better for our environment too.

The Addiction Explained

Why are we so obsessed? Kombucha is a fermented, living tea produced by adding a SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast) to either black, green or oolong tea, along natural ingredients like juices and herbs. The scoby sits in all that healthy stuff, metabolizes most of the sugar and caffeine, and releases things like organic amino acids, a slew of probiotics, essential B vitamins, and a slight amount of natural carbonation that makes that unmistakable fizz that our fans cannot live without.

But here’s the bonus: Most kombucha brands actually try to minimize the natural fermentation taste by adding unnecessary sugars and flavors, and/or pasteurizing. We actually let this flavor jump, jive, along with all the lively bacteria- creating a tasty zing just as distinct as the very kombucha you’re holding.

How The Magic Happens

Sometimes the simplest things in life are the hardest to get just right.

Using traditional, time-tested brewing methods, our ingredient list is simple: tea, water, sugar, wildcrafted fruits and herbs, and an organic mother SCOBY.

This beautifully simple medley is left to ferment for the perfect amount of time, and poured into our recyclable, classic apothecary bottles. It sounds so easy, but Mother Nature is a master at artfully crafting complexities.
