The Kombucha Addiction Explained
What is this thing we’re so crazy about? Kombucha is a fermented, living tea produced by adding a SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast) to either black or green tea and sugar. The kombucha scoby metabolizes most of the sugar and caffeine, and releases organic amino acids, probiotics, essential B vitamins, and some natural carbonation. Kombucha can then go under a second fermentation flavored with fresh fruit, vegetables, juices, and or herbs. This natural fermentation process produces the unique taste that kombucha fans love. It’s naturally sweet, a little tart and very effervescent.
Our Mother Scoby that produces our kombucha is 100% organic and we only source organic teas to provide you with the healthiest kombucha. Because of this our kombucha is loaded with beneficial bacteria, acids and yeasts essential for gut health.
Our booch is 100% raw, unpasteurized, certified organic kombucha crafted locally in Upstate New York. We only use plant-based ingredients with no added extracts or artificial flavors.
Seek North is completely changing the game and challenging the status quo in this area. We use a state of the art technology, a unique Spinning Cone Column (SCC), which separates the alcohol content from the kombucha without affecting the bacterial profile, or adding heat. This way, we are able to keep all of the useful bacteria and nutrients in tact, and remove alcohol effectively. In fact, this removes it so effectively that Seek North produces the one of the only product lines that is essentially alcohol free (less than .5% alcohol). We are one of an extremely few kombucha companies nationwide that actually uses this alcohol extraction technology.

We actually let this flavor show through, and without compromising the living bacteria, since we also never pasteurize our kombucha.
